9/11 Remembrance Held on September 11, 2021

It has been twenty years since September 11, 2001.

To commemorate the 20 year anniversary of 9/11, the Spruce Creek Fly-In community was invited to attend a 9/11 remembrance on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Windsock Park (The Big Tree).

Chuck Fernandez, Director of Security, along with Major General Paul M. Van Sickle, US Air Force (retired), Lt. General Michael Dunn, US Air Force (retired), Lynn O'Donnell, Captain, United Airlines and David Corwith, Captain, American Airlines reflected upon that day and remembered and honored those who perished in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. 

Les Lowman was the Master of Ceremony and Michelle Marie performed the National Anthem. A video of the event will be posted soon.
