Hurricane season will soon be here.
The
predictions are different every year and never seem to match what
happens to us, but every year we are at risk of being hit with a
hurricane.

but all disasters such as flooding and fires and tornadoes.

IN the Volusia County Emergency Management web site, you will find not
only the Emergency Management Guide but also links to maps of
evacuation routes, storm tracking, lists of emergency shelters and
shelters for those with special needs. You can also sign up for the
telephone or e-mail notification system to receive alerts and emergency
updates. There is information and links for all emergency situations.

The Coast to Coast
Chapter of the American Red Cross is in Daytona Beach and is a disaster
relief organization. They also provide health and safety classes.
If you are heading "North" for the summer, please remember to complete
a "Vacant House Form" for security before leaving. It will let us know
where and how to get a hold of you or anyone who may be responsible for
hour house while you are away.

1. The adult resident/owner calls them in to the north gate @ 756-6125 prior to 7pm.
2. The security officer on duty can reach the resident/owner by phone
to authorize entry.

RFID's will be
issued at the POA on
Monday
and Wednesday
10:30am
to 12:30pm
Please bring
your completed forms along with a copy of your
vehicle registration and the vehicle to the POA to
have your
RFID applied.
RFID's are for Owner/Resident/Renter or Country Club Members vehicles
only.
Family and friends who live outside of Spruce Creek may still enjoy
entry with daily or monthly passes thru the visitor gate.
Volunteers
are also needed to help with RFID application and data entry. Please
call the POA @ 760-5884 and leave your name with Theresa.
